I thought the ending was a little anti-climactic. Suddenly, catching the murderer was no longer really the point. It seemed like the point was more how each character was affected by the murder. Anyone agree? Disagree?
I agree that it was surprisingly anti-climactic. For all the high tension scenes brimming with action it seemed strange to end on such a dull note. However, maybe that was the point. Maybe it was more true-to-life. Violent crimes aren't solved neatly in one hour prime time segments by two rough and tumble detectives who spurn authority and always connect with the victim. Maybe sometimes the culprit comes to the surface, admits it and then everyone just moves on.
